Memorial Day Madness: Five Days of Fun at Disney and Universal Studios!<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Ah, Memorial Day weekend\u2014the unofficial start of summer and the perfect time to embark on an epic adventure. This year, we decided to dive headfirst into the enchanting chaos of Disney and Universal Studios for five full days of laughter, thrills, and a whole lot of questionable decisions. Buckle up for the rollercoaster ride of our lives!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Day 1: The Packing Catastrophe<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

**Preparation Mayhem:**  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

It all started with packing. As I stuffed my suitcase, I realized I had more snacks than clothes. I mean, who needs shirts when you have a solid supply of gummy bears, right? My family, in their infinite wisdom, thought it was a good idea to bring \u201cjust in case\u201d items\u2014like an inflatable flamingo. Spoiler: We never used it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We arrived at Disney bright and early, ready to embrace the magic. As we entered the park, we were greeted by the smell of churros\u2014our first order of business. We inhaled them faster than you can say \u201cMickey Mouse,\u201d and I\u2019m pretty sure I saw a couple of characters eyeing our sugar high with envy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

**Ride Roulette:**  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

First up: Space Mountain. I thought I was brave enough, but as we zoomed through the dark, I spent half the ride screaming like a banshee while my siblings cackled at my panic. When we emerged, I was convinced I\u2019d need a life coach to get over that experience.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

**Lunching with Mickey:**  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Lunch was another adventure. We opted for the \u201cAll-You-Can-Eat\u201d buffet, thinking we\u2019d make the most of it. Halfway through, we realized the buffet was not meant for our competitive eating strategies. My brother decided to challenge me to a \u201cwho can eat the most chicken nuggets\u201d contest, which ended in a tie\u2014mainly because we both wanted to die.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

#### Day 3: Universal Shenanigans<\/p>\n\n\n\n

**Universal Excitement:**  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Day three brought us to Universal Studios. As soon as we stepped inside, my sibling decided that we needed matching \u201cWizarding World\u201d robes. They convinced me it was a good idea, and suddenly, I was strutting around like I was auditioning for Hogwarts, complete with a wand made from a tree branch. Classy, right?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

**Dinosaur Drama:**  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

We hit Jurassic Park first. As we boarded the ride, my brother swore he could outrun a T-Rex. Little did he know, the only thing he\u2019d be running from was the water splashing from the ride. When the dinosaurs roared, so did my brother. I\u2019m pretty sure he scared the animatronics more than they scared us.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

**Evening Entertainment:**  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Dinner at a Universal-themed restaurant turned into an impromptu talent show, where I discovered my \u201cimpressive\u201d ability to impersonate various characters from the park. Let\u2019s just say I won zero awards, but I did get a few side-eyes from the waitstaff.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

#### Day 4: Water Park Whirlwind<\/p>\n\n\n\n

**Splash-tastic Day:**  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

After three days of thrill rides, we decided to take it easy at the water park. The lazy river turned out to be anything but lazy when my brother started a water balloon fight with random strangers. Nothing says \u201cfun\u201d like an unexpected splash from a water cannon!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

**Wave Pool Woes:**  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Things escalated quickly in the wave pool. I was trying to relax when a rogue wave knocked me over like a bowling pin. I surfaced to find my siblings in fits of laughter, pointing at me as if I were the day\u2019s entertainment. Note to self: never trust a wave pool again.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

#### Day 5: The Grand Finale<\/p>\n\n\n\n

**Back to Disney:**  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

For our final day, we decided to return to Disney to soak in every last drop of magic. This time, we were ready to conquer the rides. Luke insisted we start with the Tower of Terror, claiming it was \u201ctotally chill.\u201d Spoiler alert: it was not.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

**Photo Ops Gone Wrong:**  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

During a photo op with a character, my brother accidentally photobombed a family, pulling a goofy face that made their picture legendary. We spent the next hour reenacting his pose for laughs. That\u2019ll be a memory for the books!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

**Heading Home:**  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

As we finally packed up and headed home, we reminisced about the wild memories we had created. From turkey leg disasters to unexpected water fights, it was a trip filled with laughter, joy, and a serious need for a nap.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
